What can disobedience teach us about creativity? In this workshop, we’ll reflect on our (marginalised) positions in society and explore creativity as a tool for imagining and building different ways of living. Together, we’ll play with forms and ideas of civil and social disobedience as creative practice and experiment with zines, poetry, diary entries, drawings, questions and other forms of expression.
No experience needed, come as you are, make something, question something, or simply play.
The artist:
Nuka Horvat (they/he) is a queer multimedia artist working both visually and with sound. Their practice engages with themes of queerness, social alienation, digital culture, and (post-)capitalism. Beyond individual artistic production, they are invested in building cultural infrastructures for queer communities through publishing, community organising, and collaborative art-making.
