This shirt marks a victory. The words on it, “We made way for a world without us”, come from one of the banners in Dissonance Act 2 Afterthought, a performance Fossil Free Culture NL staged at the Concertgebouw against its sponsorship by Shell. When the Concertgebouw ended that sponsorship in 2020, we launched the shirt at Fossil Free Museumplein, the party we threw on the square to celebrate.

Each shirt is screen-printed by hand by the artists of Fossil Free Culture NL. No two prints come out the same: you may see small differences in the ink, and on some shirts the print runs across the seams. That’s intended. These marks of the hand are what make your shirt the only one of its kind.

Made from 100% organic cotton and produced under Fair Wear standards, meaning the people who made this shirt worked in safe conditions and were paid fairly.
