This shirt marks a victory. The words on it, End the Fossil Fuel Age Now, are the title of a performance Fossil Free Culture NL staged inside the Van Gogh Museum against its sponsorship by Shell. In 2018, after a series of these performances, the museum ended its partnership with Shell. We made the shirt to celebrate that moment, and to carry the sentence out of the museum and into the street.

Each shirt is screen-printed by hand by the artists of Fossil Free Culture NL. No two prints come out the same: you may see small differences in the ink, and on some shirts the print runs across the seams. That’s intended. These marks of the hand are what make your shirt the only one of its kind.
