The Writing is on the Wall at Concertgebouw
#DropShell #MoreToxicThanTobacco
As the oil-stained future becomes evermore visible, bodies on the frontlines are already paying the ultimate price, in heatwaves and high-tides, in fires and floods and devastating droughts. So it’s way past time that privileges were revoked for those that caused this catastrophe.
But instead, they’re clinking glasses in private receptions here with royalty and politicians and a backdrop of top talent, networking in luxury as the planet burns. Perfectly positioned, from boardroom to business club, Royal Dutch Shell have engineered golden backstage passes to exercise their undue influence.
Because that’s how they get to keep on getting things done. By making friends like there’s no tomorrow.
It’s time to shine a spotlight on all Shell’s dirty dealings.
Time for Concertgebouw to drop Shell.
